The End of the Pirate Platform ZSat in Palermo

ZSAT, the Italian IPTV platform which infringed Sky Italia and DAZN has been closed. This pirate platform had 11 thousand subscribers who paid a much lower amount than they would have paid for the official Sky Italia or DAZN. After abolishment of ZSAT, its users were also threatened with sanctions of several thousand euros for using the service.

In home of a 35-year-old from Palermo, 57 set-top boxes were found which were used to acquire signal to redistribute paid channels. In the bathrooms and garbage police also found 186,900 euros in cash and indefinite number of gold bars. (ns)
