Openload Domain is Suspended

One of the largest hosting sites on the Internet has lost control over its main domain. The Openload.co domain has been suspended, probably by Tucows, and is currently marked with the serverHold status code. In addition to it, the official Openload status page is also not available.

According to ICANN, serverHold’s domain status is rare and “usually enacted during legal disputes, non-payment, or when your domain is subject to deletion.” It is not known why this action was taken. Tucows did not respond to the request for comment.

Thanks to millions of users, Openload hosting site generates more traffic than popular streaming services such as HBO Go.(ns)
