The Man Who Created His Own Illegal Network

The organizer of providing telecommunications services using pirated technology was sentenced to three years in prison. The hacker created a customer base under the guise of providing services to connect customers to the cable system of the leading operator Volia.

The Lviv citizen received income by charging a fee for unauthorized connection to a network of receivers in houses. He changed the routing of the signal transmitted on the network illegally providing access to television programs for residents of apartments. Several other people also took part in the organization of the illegal broadcast. There is no information whether they were responsible of this crime (ns.)
