Facebook Prohibits Sale of Kodi Boxes

Facebook has updated its Commerce Policy introducing a ban for sale on its site offers with Kodi boxes. Such devices come with a pre-installed Kodi software which enables playback of streams with infringing digital content. Even though Kodi itself is a legitimate platform but some add-ons can make it a powerful pirate tool.

Some time ago Google banned Kodi from the autocomplete feature in its search engine and now Facebook added to it by banning sale offers on its site following what Amazon and eBay did a few months ago.

The only Kodi-related devices that are still allowed on Facebook sales is additional equipment such as keyboards or remote controls. (ns.)
